This large Maori Manaia Trophy is an absolute beauty.

Made from Tulip Wood, a sustainably grown hardwood, it features a beautifully detailed wooden Manaia on a large wooden base.

It's the perfect trophy for a very special occasion, and there is lots of room on the base for engraving.

You can purchase the trophy on its own, or have it engraved as well.

Please note that if we engrave the trophy it cannot be returned, except in the unlikely situation of the engraving being done wrong.

The trophy, including its base, measures approximately 42cm (16 1/2') tall.

The Maori Manaia carries a spiritual meaning. The Manaia was believed to be a spiritual guardian, warding off danger and protecting from intruders. The carving shows elements of beings from the sky, earth and sea, showing how the Manaia is a guardian over sky, earth and sea. The more manaia are on a carving, the more sacred (tapu) it becomes.

This Manaia carving is proudly made in Rotorua, New Zealand, and shipped worldwide.

ENGRAVING: We are happy to get the stand engraved (gold plaque) for you as an optional extra, so you can mark the occasion. 
Steps:
a) Choose up to 8 words for engraving onto a gold plaque.
b) Select the Engraved option in the Option box.
c) Enter your words in the Engraving Wording box. (If you can't see the Engraving Wording box, it means you haven't selected the Engraved option yet).
Allow 3-4 days for engraving. 

There is also the option of purchasing the trophy in a deluxe gift box - perfect when this is a presentation piece.
